Founded in 2009, Ekdant Kalakshetra is an endeavor to propagate the rich Indian Classical Music with Vocal & Kathak art form among our new generation. It is said that every child has an artistic mind; and at Ekdant Kalakshetra, we sow the golden grains of Indian art forms into such minds.

It is indeed a challenge in this modern world, to push our young thinkers beyond limits and help them discover the beauty of Indian Classical music. Ekdant Kalakshetra aims at imbibing the values of  timeless Indian Raagas, the finesse of Kathak Dance form with taals, bols, tatkars & tukdas, the lyrical movements and sculptural poses with rhythm, expression and storytelling of Odissi dance into the minds of learners. Here, learning is a journey where music is not taught— it is lived.

What is the fee structure?

Fees depend on the instrument, level, and mode of learning (online/offline).

Can I get a trial class?

Yes, we offer a free/paid demo class so you can experience the teaching style before enrolling.

What do I need for online classes?

 A stable internet connection
 A laptop/mobile with camera
 Your instrument (for instrumental classes)

 Headphones (optional but recommended)
 Electronic tanpura and electronic tabla (as advised)

Do I need prior musical experience?

No. We offer beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. Students without prior training can
start from the basics.

How long is each class?

Classes typically run for 45–60 minutes per session, depending on the course and level.

How often are classes conducted?

Most programs offer 1–2 sessions per week, with intensive courses available on request.

Do you provide certifications?

Yes. Students can appear for graded examinations through recognized music bodies such as:
 Prayag Sangeet Samiti
 University/Academy-specific certifications
(Adjust based on your school.)
 Trinity College, London (for Keyboard)

Who are the instructors?

All our instructors are well qualified, experienced musicians with professional training in
Indian classical music and western music. Several have performed on stage, recorded albums,
sung for playback or hold advanced degrees in music.

Do you conduct performances or recitals?

Yes. We hold annual student recitals, workshops, and special concerts to help students gain
stage experience. We prepare students for various competition and talent shows and
performances

What styles of music do you teach?

We offer training in Hindustani Classical Music - Vocal, Classical Dance (Kathak & Odissi)
and Western Music (Keyboard). Depending on the course, instruction may include vocal music,
instrumental training, and theory.

Do you offer online classes?

Yes. We provide live online classes through video platforms, allowing students to join from
anywhere in the world. Recordings may be provided depending on the course.

What is the minimum age to join?

Students can join from age 5 onwards. However, some courses (like tabla or keyboard) may
require a higher starting age. Tabla Classes to be started.
